Smoke-free Banner
I found a “quit meter” banner to show how much money I saved by quitting smoking at today’s prices (assuming an average of $6/pack) that I had hoped to use on MySpace to maybe encourage my sibs to quit smoking since they can barely afford to pay their bills, let along buy cigs, but because of the ? in the link, it strips it out. So I decided to add it here.
Quitting smoking is probably the best thing I’ve ever done for my health. I just wish I could motivate myself to do the other 999 things I need to do to improve my health and fitness level. Only three come to mind right now, but they are three big ones. Maybe worth 333 each LOL
1. Lose about 50 pounds
2. Exercise regularly
3. Eat the way I should as a diabeticI have found that once I get into an exercise program (walking usually) I get used to it and stick with it. I may try walking after work (if I can get home at a reasonable time!) now that it’s DST. Unfortunately for me, I haven’t gotten off work early enough yet to enjoy the extra hour of daylight!

Wow. I don’t smoke but around here they average around $3.50 a pack. And that’s only a few miles from you!
@nevragn - no wonder people cross the border to get cigs. I’ve seen them for $10/pack in the city. They are much higher here than in your state.
